This policy governs member memberships, event registrations, and product purchases from the Fédération des Motocyclistes de Sentiers du Québec (FMSQ). By proceeding with a transaction on Livelaps.com or in person (registration trailer / race office), the member acknowledges having read this policy and accepts the following terms:

1. Memberships: Annual and Weekend

​

Memberships are essential for insurance coverage and the proper functioning of the Federation.

​

• Principle: All memberships are firm, final, and non-refundable.

• Transfer: Memberships are strictly personal and cannot be transferred from one rider to another.

 

2. Race Registrations and Transponders

 

Registrations made online via Livelaps or on-site, as well as the purchase of transponders, are subject to the following rules:

• Registration Fees: Race registration fees are non-refundable.

• Transponders: The purchase of a transponder is considered a final sale.

• Rider Cancellation: No refunds or credits will be granted in the event of an absence (No-show), regardless of the reason (mechanical failure, injury, personal obligations, weather, or otherwise).

• Cancellation or Postponement by the FMSQ: In cases of force majeure (extreme weather, track safety, government notice), the FMSQ reserves the right to postpone the event or offer a credit for a later date. No monetary refunds will be issued.

• Technical Modifications: No refunds will be issued in the event of schedule changes, modifications to the duration of the event, or course changes by race management.

 

3. Event Site Entry Fees

Access fees to the site (participants, spectators, companions, etc.) paid at the gate or online are non-refundable.

• Interruption: No refunds are granted in the event of premature interruption of competitions.

• Postponement Conditions: In cases of force majeure leading to the postponement of the event, the FMSQ reserves the right to offer an access credit. No monetary refunds will be issued.

• Schedule Changes: Changes to the daily schedule do not entitle the holder to any refund.

 

4. FMSQ Shop (Official Items and Parts)

For physical goods sold at the mobile shop or online:

​

• Final Sale: All items (clothing, parts, accessories) are sold on a final sale basis.

• Exchanges: Only clothing may be exchanged for a different size on-site, subject to available inventory, provided the items are in their original condition (unworn and unwashed).

• Warranty: For any technical item, only the manufacturer's warranty applies. The FMSQ acts as a reseller and does not assume immediate replacement at its own expense.
